Who will be the loss leader and corner the market. JK
Your right the more sellers the better. They will need to compete with each other for sales. The increase could be a sign of increased production as well. Ill cross my fingers that is the case.Comment

Wow all I've seen at the BigC is the win X and mini mags the last few days, must be getting slow on the order button. On the good side ups is dropping a couple Fed 525 boxes today (ordered on different days) so that will have to hold me. I think a bucket of GB is what I'm striving for!Comment

Flippers in the Calguns Market place...
IF you see another member PM them, ask a question, or say I'll take it you can always PM the buying/interested member and keep them from being gouged. Point them to this thread.
More people here means more competition for the flippers when buying.
More people here means fewer customers for the flippers when selling.I do believe that, where there is only a choice between cowardice and violence, I would advise violence... There are seriously people on here that use the forum for nothing but finding, buying, and flipping ammo-- and it is disgusting. It would be nice if someone could shut these people down. When 90% of your posts are in the ammo / reloading FS sections, GTFO.
Just look at these F@^KS!

Also telling is that most of the time they are selling the same ammo types being posted as finds here. Hmmm.. how did you find that, Mr. Flipper. Could just be they are getting what were getting because that's what's available from stores/website, but call me a skeptic. There are seriously people on here that use the forum for nothing but finding, buying, and flipping ammo-- and it is disgusting. I talked to someone at Gander last week and he said they get ammo on thursdays and fridays and were getting a lot yet look at how little showed up last night. So do not believe everything they tell you.Comment

My timing to joining this forum could not be worse with the recent uptick in flippers, but I assure you my interest and purchases are for personal consumption only! Thanks for your help.Comment

I would think the forum management would have a serious problem with using the PM system to say "don't buy from this guy, you can buy it over here." And rightly so IMHO. Similar actions got many people bounced from ebay, back in the days when you COULD email any other ebay member. The transaction is between the buyer and the seller, and none of anyone else's business. Would you really stand at the checkout in a store pointing out to people that they're getting ripped off? Really now, aren't we all buying PLENTY of ammo? I couldn't care less who buys it or what they do with it. It is a bit tacky (okay, more than a bit) to sell it on this forum, but that's their choice of what to do with their ammo. As long as they don't post on this THREAD pointing out their ammo for sale, I'm okay with it.Comment

I wonder how many PMs are sent per day on CG. Any idea? You think the moderators are pulling an NSA and reading and/or monitoring all of them? Why would mods care if you let another member know how to save a few bucks and find more ammo to enjoy shooting.I would think the forum management would have a serious problem with using the PM system to say "don't buy from this guy, you can buy it over here." If you see someone buying something at a store for a 100% mark up and know where they can get it at a better price why not be friendly and let them know?
Either way I don't care that much. I just think it's fun to mess with the flippers. Free market. They can do what they want. It just sucks that they use CG to ripoff other CGers.I do believe that, where there is only a choice between cowardice and violence, I would advise violence... I agree except one thing. If the buyer thinks it is a good enough deal to buy it then he agreed and is not getting ripped off. I can agree maybe $40-$45 would be more "fair" but the seller spent time to get it which the buyer doesn't want to do.I would think the forum management would have a serious problem with using the PM system to say "don't buy from this guy, you can buy it over here." And yes, on Thanksgiving if I seen you buying a ham and I had just seen them at the other store, I'd tell you IF I KNEW YOU!
I know not one person offered me anything less then $60 when I wanted some and I wouldn't want to take less than $45 if I needed the money back. To friends, different story...they get it at cost or can just shoot a bit of mine free...like beer...drink all you want but don't take it to your own party!Comment
