Please don't get me wrong. I consider that a very fun day. A year ago I would have been tickled pink. It's just that now that I have some ammo, and I can afford it, I'd rather use the more costly CCI. My guns rather that I use it, and they are the BOSS in this case.

Yea last summer when I stocked up on 10k rounds of 22 because of this thread, I was buying anything in stock. Now I need to find out what RAR I picked up on Black Friday likes.

Likes CCI, shoots ok with Winchester 555 brick and federal 525 brick.

Still need to try out m-22 i have and the GB bucket I just got last month.

They do well in my GSG 1911-22. My experience is similar with most Remington ammo, they tend to run really dirty. Cleaning the barrels takes more time, at the range I tend to get pieces of hot powder landing on my hand, and every now and then I get inconsistent rounds that barely make it out the barrel.

Yes about the hot powder on the hands. This happens a lot when I use the M-22's, which is one reason I don't shoot them any longer.

Also, the M-22's seem to go pop instead of bang too many times.

I love Mini-mags, too. Life is definitely good!

Cabela's has decent price on their Herter's brass .45: http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shoot...3Bcat104372280
I don't own a .45, but I shoot Herter's 9mm all the time. Best to stick with the brass cased FMJ. (They also make aluminum cased and steel cased)

That's just a gentle reminder that you're still alive. Embrace it! It's all part of the experience.

I just shoot some of the winchester 333 round box, what a bunch of Cr*p. My SR22 eats anything and it jams on this stuff every other round. I even try them on my sw 617. guess what to eject them I had to really hammer my hand on ejector rod. So it looks like it is not the gun but the 22lr casing getting expanded which case the FTE.

The CCI Tact at Cabelas was up on slickguns. It's OOS now.

My SR22 will shoot the Win round, but it does have a problem once in a while. It loves all Federal, and even the Rem GB's. I usually save my CCI's for my rifles and other hand guns that I shoot at a longer distance.

Well, I went against all conventional wisdom and called Gander about an order that was on my account since 1/27 that showed "To Be Picked" and never changed. I thought for sure they were going to cancel it, but firearms and ammo supervisor "Spencer" told me that my account had a special flag placed on it to make sure that the next time they got them in stock mine was certain to get filled. Kudos to you, Spencer, for the great service and explaining what was happening.

Because I have an enquiring mind, I asked Spencer when he thought they might be getting them in stock. His exact words were: we are getting a massive shipment in on Thursday - all sorts of stuff.

                          Prepare yourselves.

                            I'm all giddy with anticipation!

...man I've fallen down the rabbit hole. I'm excited about the prospect of a shipment....

FRICK!!!! I went to go put in my order but went back to the first page to change the customer name - it went to OOS. I am guessing cabelas has a stock hold so you cant get snaked? I refreshed the page wish likely caused it to go OOS. I went on slickguns and cant find that CCI tact link out of curiosity.

That link was an auto add, also. It can be found again if you click on expired deals at slickguns/cabelas. If you need help, let me know.
