I guess his qualm with many others is it looks like you are taking advantage of this thread to purely profit of it and that it seems you joined with the intention of just selling ammo here based on your posts started and replied in. Do what you want is my response. It is an open forum after all, just don't get hurt if you get painted as "that guy".

We are not here to tell you what to do since it is a free market and no one is forced to purchase your stash- i mean friend's stash (heck, some members may need it for emergency ammo for an outting and will pay the extra money). It just looks bad at first glance. I wish your vet buddy well in selling of his extra ammo.

Actually I am at work so I dont get to respond super fast.

I have sold ammo in the past. I would never deny it. I get up early, I stand in line at walmart and pay my money. I purchase on the internet. I go out and shoot whenever I can. It's my ammo I am free to do with it what I please. Never once has anyone said to me, "Hey thanks for letting me buy ammo from you at the price you ask but you are an Ahole!" Everyone says thank you and are happy to just have the ammo. But that is totally irrelevant to my question.

My question was just of curiosity and what you guys thought, I have an Economics degree so I am kind of a nerd. Sure I could go thru our 270+ pages on this thread but some of you have been on here longer so I thought I would ask.

P.S. 85% of that stash wasn't mine. I was putting it online for a retired vet friend of mine who is computer illiterate, I was just helping him out.

Yup, I was trying to order the cci tacticals and the blazer brick over the phone with them and he was first surprised that it showed in stock after I gave him the item# and when he went to process it he said "hmmm it's not letting complete it, hold on a minute" several minutes later he came back and said that after speaking to a manager they had recently made a adjustment to their rule to only allow one order of 22 PERIOD. So he made me choose the tacticals or the blazer brick. I went with the brick.

That SUCKS! I would have though you would be able to mix and match the 22's as long as you didn't duplicate any. Oh well.. Come on Gander!!!

I know what you are going through. I have one in my cart. It was keeping company with a slide of mini's and a slide of Winchester (no longer around). I would like to see the Tacticals, Swamp People, or the 2100 round ammo can of Federals. That can is where the $5 shipping really comes into play.

Come on big Federal ammo cans.

4th time both my backorders(Better Half & I) from the last $99 sale(Beginning of Dec.) have been reset.
Originally due by the 25th of Dec, pushed to the 30th, 1/25, 30th and well...

I'm more than willing to wait @ that price with the free ship.
(The gift cards used left me to wax nostalgic over the ~.03/rd w/can!)

BTW the sale price recently shown by the cart is $109.99.
So in short keep on the lookout for it in the next few weeks, but don't bet on it.

When I talked to cabelas today about an order they already cancelled the guy said that they only allow 1 22lr order per day period. Even if it's two different items.

I talked to a cabelas rep earlier today about my order that had stingers, federals, and golden bullets. She was trying to help me add mini mags to it but it was out of stock, so she said she would have to ship just those three.

and it sucks that I still have not gotten my card in the mail, been paying all this extra money for shipping

When your card finally comes in, call customer service and politely explain the situation with a supervisor.
Most likely they'll send you a Gift Card for the extra shipping charges you've paid.(Or you could suggest it.)
Especially after they see the money spent recently...

Remember Polite but Firm.

Thats 8 cents a round, for that much I'll stick with the mini mag 100 packs - same price.

I figured since they are packaged in 100 round trays now, it's the same difference, especially 1 limit on the minimags, but you are allowed 300

it's 1 cent less than cabelas price on mini-mags. I was hoping these 300 count packs would be priced at 21-22 bucks. Maybe gander will come through.

Yea, gander might have a better price on the new 300 round CCI AR's, their price on mini mag 100 packs is $7.99 with limit of 10 and free shipping, ($1 cheaper than Cabelas + free ship).

These are the new ones, in 300 round boxes. They put up the same price as the old 375 rounds. Hopefully they come back down. Natchez had them for $19.

The last price paid on the 375 Tactical's @BigC was $27.99.
I agree though it should be less.

Let's hope GM puts them up for 19.99/20.99.
More than likely though it'll be at least $21.99, probably $22.99
1 can hope though right?

Just a word of advice, and yes I’ve seen it said before, quit calling customer service about your ammo orders. They are going to get tired of tying up customer service agents dealing with you guys. The less they know about how we get these orders in before they hit the main site, the better. Keep bugging them and they are going to somehow stop the auto add to cart links.
Watch the board, post a find if it’s not up yet and buy your damn ammo, leave customer service alone, unless absolutely necessary.
And yes, before you start, I haven’t posted here, I used to post on another board until I got tired of their BS no chit chat policy and found this board. But I have contributed to the “find some damn 22 community” since late 2012, I was one of the first to put together the cabela’s comparison chart ( the latest is below as well as the latest add to cart link)
And ya I try to post here, but by the time I get home from work, anything I find is already posted.

So true---When I first started with Cabelas I had called CS to ask for help with something and while we were talking they mentioned they also shoot and hadn;t been able to find any 22 for themselves for over a week---At the very time we were talking the forums were hammering on a load that had just gone up and had been for several days prior----So most CS folks are completely in the dark---------FOR NOW!!!

Nice post! Thanks for the chart, I have been trying to monitor that comparison chart lately with the scripts. By the way, are there other forums that are using this technique that we are essentially competing with? I thought I read the S&W site was one....just curious how many other sites are doing this.
