if another good source is posted before the jan 20 deadline, i'll prob do at least one more case...

Jerry Brown nearly ruined California on his first term as gov a few years ago...now the people have RE-elected him for a second chance even after he's said he's going to tax us into oblivion (geeeeee..i pay $350.00 per year now for registering a 4 year old Toyota truck...why should we allow him to RAISE those rates? the people FIRED Gray Davis for doing that...REMEMBER? auto registrations are supposed to GO DOWN, NOT UP!) and educate illegal immigrants at OUR expense...Diane feinstein is an AVID anti-gun legislator and openly admits she advocates confiscation as is Barbara boxer and Gavin newsome...yet they keep getting re-elected...why?

we need to use the voting box instead of the ammo box at this time. in this day and time, legislators have elevated themselves to a near deity status and will shun any attempts to unseat them or their legislation other than an election. Charles Rangel was writing tax laws you and i are subjected to, yet he gets indicted for violating those same laws...geeeeeeeeeee...he's a multi-term, ELECTED official...he had the nerve to plead for us to "have some mercy shown" to him...he would gladly put you or i into the streets for committing the violations he committed...

watch how fast you end up in prison if you try to overthrow the current regime by any way other than a legal vote...ESPECIALLY if you advocate violence. what do you think would happen if someone would try to storm the capitol building in Sacramento during a legislative session?

once ANY administration gets the upper hand, it's very difficult to break the stranglehold the longer it goes on.

it goes something like this: legislators fear an armed opposition...it's that simple and if they can legislate it away from them...they will. at this moment, their opposition has allowed them to BY VOTING THEM INTO POWER.

simply stated: we all know Diane Feinstein, as an example, is an anti-gun extremist, why do we, the voters, vote for her? THE VOTERS know she will try to confiscate our, the law-abiding, private citizen's, firearms if given the power and opportunity to do so. why give her the chance? why not strip her of any chance she might get before she can get it? VOTE.

I thought Gray Davis was ruined by his stupid decisions regarding energy companies and how they can operate. Heh, my house is rather small, and everywhere you look there is some form of ammo (collected some cheap Warsaw era stuff) and 22lr to the brim. bbs and pellets for my backyard shooting. Conveys a strange impression for guests I imagine.

I have not now or ever voted for Feinstein, Boxer, Brown, etc. and I ensure my family and friends don't either, yet they continue to get (re)elected. I guess too many morons/idiots in California. I believe a big part of the problem is letting clueless teenagers vote as most of them are brainwashed liberal sheep. Should raise the minimum age to vote at least to 21 or higher.

Again bro, you're preaching to the choir... of course we vote, but even if every calguns member voted against the anti's, it still wouldn't carry the state of CA.

Really, how so? A few years ago when? It has been more than a few years ago since JB was gov, I guess Arnold has been a screaming success? Anyway, I am not a huge JB fan, but you are lacking in specific criticisms other than the usual "he's a socialist gibberish" and so although I usually ignore such ignorant ravings from the not the sharpest tool in the shed crowd, there are 2 specific examples where JB left CA with an impressive legacy. First, for better or worse, JB oversaw the building of the impressive CA freeway system that no other state has, bar none. Second, and more significantly, and why CA is a technology leader and Texas and Florida etc. are just wannabes is that he made funding the best state school system, UC, in the world, bar none, a priority.

So, if you want to be a single issue person fine, I am not, but I suggest you might want to learn a few things about Jerry and the state of CA before you spout non-specific/incoherent Glenn Beckisms

All of this makes me sad... I was too young to get anything pre-ban (hi-cap mags, Auto guns, etc)... now it'll be hard to get even decent .22 ammo? >.<
My AR is 7.62x39, so that if/when we get invaded, I can shoot their ammo back at them!

yup I just stocked up enough to last me for the year and if I need more any time after the ban I also plan on making trips to AZ or NV. Screw supporting CA and the BS bans they arent gonna get any more of my ammo tax.
