    .22 LR Ammo Stash

Anyone else besides me stashing some .22 LR ammo before 1st of February? I don't have that many only about 15K rounds. Would like to get at least 25K before the 1st.

For some reason, I found the 500 rds Blazer .22LR more accurate then the ones in 525 rds package. Both function great in my various .22LR firearms tho. Blazer have the least amount of FTF for bulk pack for me. They are good to go!

I like the winchester 555s. It's on you Turners.
Anyone else divide their stash into typical hr or two range bulk and specialized stuff like 1700+ fps or velocitors? I seem to be lower on the bulk than the specialty.

40K + 2 cases on the way. I plan two trips (at least) to Arizona every year to restock.

I'm at around 15000+ rounds as well. I refuse to be gouged, trips to AZ,C&R COE, other loopholes will be my salvation.

I just scored from a local guy who sold me Winchesters 555 and Federal 550 bulk packs for $10 each. I bought all 10 bricks he had.

Thats because the 525 pack is Federal manufacture and the 500 box is CCI manufacture. I have tried both and quickly bought about 12k of the CCI Blazer.

Im at about 30k and am looking at buying another 10k before Feb.

I am "stocking up" (read: hoarding) on "exotic" 22 ammo that is not carried by my local MalWart, Big 5, Turner's or mom and pops. I am talking about the Aguila super hypervelocity stuff, the Colibris, the Lapua Target loads, etc.

I am also buying online as much as I can 22 CB's and 22 Longs.

Only time will tell if the remaining out of state retailers will continue to ship 22 ammo after February 1st. I just find it sad that I will forever be limited by what the stores around me carry--that means crappy and dirty Thunderbolts and 22's by the brick.
