continue to stock up if you wish...but...here's a few ideas:

1...obey the law as written. if you disagree with the law, work to have it changed/rescinded.

2...elect those who do not have anti-gun agendas

3...work towards the removal of the one who pass anti-gun legislation

4...use their own system to defeat them and their agendas/ideas. most legislators are so vain and self centered they're not cognizant of any thing but their own system and believe they're beyond reproach.

Don't know about NRAhighpowershooter but I shoot 2k rounds per month so for me that's less than 3 years supply. Some of us retired folks visit our range 2-3 times per week and blast away. Doesn't take long to eat up a brick or two or three.

I look at my stash like insurance. Might not need it but nice to have just in case.

As the saying goes "better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it". But 62K rounds? That is insurance.

Might seem perfectly normal to me and you.

But if NRAhighpowershooter ever had a 'visit' from Police or Fire on an unrelated circumstance you can be sure they would call in a HAZMAT team and evacuate the Neighborhood.

Hell 62k 22lr rounds would barely fill a couple of 20mm ammo cans.

went to the range today... i used a whole box of the Federal Bulk 550's. FUN Day!!! Gotta replenish what i used :/ Time to go to wally world.

BTW... I will never buy Remington ammo again!!! i had 2 FTE's & 3 FTL's in one mag!!! I had ZERO problems with the 550rd Federal Bulks and ZERO problems with the CCI Mini Mags!

Did the Ammo count last night just to see what I need to stock up on.

I did notice Wal-Mart in Mountain View had zero pistol ammo. I am guessing the rush has already started.

Good idea to stock up on 22lr, might pick up a 22lr pistol at some point just to plink with so I don't have to waste my "freedom" ammo before I need to restock and go though the extra-freedom process to acquire ammo.

I just did a range day with a Polish WZ-48 and Ruger MkII and had ton of fun. A quick check of my ammo inventory spreadsheet, I have about 30K rounds of ammo of which 13K is .22lr. The rest is divided up among the 13 other calibers I have to feed. I really need more range safe 45ACP, 9mm and 7.62x39. Oh and you can never have enough .22lr.
