Are you sure they are sold out? This link shows them in stock: http://www.appleseedstore.flyingcart...id=10&cat_id=0

    CTD has them also: http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/MGR015-1.html

The best place to order tech sights is http://www.tech-sights.com/
so these slings work with the 795 as is? or is there any special installation procedure?

I did a search here and googled it, but couldn't find anything. I have a Ultimate Cliploader for my Ruger MK III and that is great, but it doesn't work on these mags.

I'll call Marlin, but I'm hoping someone here can give some help.
I'm looking for one as well. The problem I'm finding out is that since the 795 is a relatively "new" rifle, theres not much out there.

afro, even tho the video had "Marlin Bolt Action .22," it will still work on the 795? If so, I will contact them to check the price and get one.

I have one for my AK preban 30 round mags and they are fantastic!

Thanks a lot for that info afro; I'm sure I won't be the only one who will appreciate that.

The 795 uses the same mags as some of the Marlin bolt action rifles.

So, I ordered from CTD for the first time... what's up with them? First of all, I couldn't tell what the hell was in stock or not from their web site, so I kind of blindly ordered a GI sling, swivels, and extra magazines.

I get my first package, and it's decently sized, so I figure it has everything in it... NOPE, just a sling. The package could have easily held 24 slings, but all they put in was the sling. Next day I get the 4 magazines, in an even bigger box, which could have held 3x my order of everything.

                  Haven't received the swivels yet....

Mine came out of Turners jail today!

Took it apart to clean, and my model 60 while I was at it. The slide was very gritty inside.

I just used air to blow out the action & trigger and added I dab of oil here and there. What solvents are safe for the trigger assy?

Thanks for the info. I'll be ordering one as soon as they come out in July. I hate tearing up my fingers reloading mags.

Different boxes means it came from different warehouses. Mine came from TX and VA, but arrived on the same day. You should have been emailed tracking info for both packages, or can view it when you log on and view your previous orders.

They screwed up my order and sent 10mm mags instead of 9mm when I ordered some other things for the 795, then made an error on the refund.

To their credit, each problem was fixed quickly when brought to their attention. Good price and selection and quick attention to their errors means I will probably end up using them again...maybe.

mine came with a cracked trigger guard Well, i'm 99% certain it came that way, unless it somehow cracks with about 2 lbs of force applied to it.

Went to take it apart to do the first cleaning/lubing in preparation of going shooting. As soon as I got the two screws out and started to lift it was just split in front of the actual trigger guard. It's still "connected" but hanging by a thread. I had read that using a metal aftermarket one is a good first mod anyways, just kinda sucks.

                            Man that sucks!

If they won't cover it under warranty I bet you could use super glue gel to fix it until you get a replacement. If the parts are super clean it should hold strong.

yeah, i'm sure it would hold fine for such a light little .22. I mean, even just screwed back in, you'd never know unless you looked very closely right where the crack is, it all seems pretty tight and secure when screwed down. Unscrew it, though, and it folds up like a taco.
