What CCI, Winchester, Remminton, and all the other .22 mfgrs think is this is just a run that will pass but I say after going on 3 years of hard to find .22 this is the new normal. When there was a run on centerfire guns a few years ago (when Obummer was elected) gun mfgrs really expanded their line of .22 pistols and rifles to appease the masses and those masses have been buying .22 firearms. So today its not that people are hoarding .22 ammo its that more people have more .22 firearms than they did when our firearm salesman-in-chief became president.

You have posters on this very thread that line up at 6AM in the morning to buy $19 ammo and sell it for $50 and they admit they never had a use for it.
The shortage is based on pannick buying from those who don't even shoot but have figured out a way to make some untaxed money.
Competitive shooters have Zero use for this type of ammo so the people being harmed the most are new and young shooters.

It seems to be coming back a little. I've got about 1500 rounds at the local Walmart twice in the last two weeks at 9am. They had probably a dozen boxes of Federal Automatch 325 when I got there at 9am.

              And your right

I am a rifle shooting merit badge counselor for my sons scout troop and we used to go shooting 4-6 times a year along with trips to the range to do the shooting portion of the merit badge...... over the last 2 years we have been twice and that was it.

BTW I shoot 2-gun competitively and trust me shooters shoot what they can get now-a-days not just high end match ammo

Woa, what a bunch of whining. You purchase what you want at a price you want ------- or you don't. .................That all, folks.

I decided to venture out to Walmart finally. I missed some Federal Automatch at Walmart yesterday by one day. That's the closest I have been to a Walmart .22 score in a few years, hahah. I did see one lonely box of .22 subsonic about two years ago

I scored 100 rounds of 45acp for $30 though, which was worth a trip.

Natchezss has Choot 'em 300 packs (limit 2) and Fed Gameshok HP's (limit 10) right now with low prices and high shipping

You could score 1100 rounds for about .09 per round shipped if you were so inclined.

Shipping factored in at around $18, but the mini mags are only $23 per 300... not horrible about now.

Waiting for someone to accuse me of owning Natchez, hahahah.

Good price for the 45ACP. I need to stop and grab some.

$98.94 order total to be exact and a no brainer in my opinion. Thanks for the tip!

On your advice, I went to the WM in Ontario. They don't sell ammo.
