Hmm, I ordered (and received) 10 sleeves of MiniMags (1000 rounds) and a brick of CCI Std Vel (500) 10 days ago. $7.99 per sleeve, $39.90 for the brick, $15 shipping. Ordered on 10/14 received on 10/20.
EDIT: I just tried to replicate the order but it knocked the MiniMags down to 5 sleeves. I was going to replicate the order a couple days after my first order, and it didn't knock it down, but then I decided to order some match and target ammo from another site instead. Their packaging could be better. 8 of 10 sleeves were cracked on the end, so I fixed them with super glue.Last edited by RawHP; 10-25-2016, 8:06 PM.Comment

Our problem here is that with the new ammo laws, and the inability to really reload .22LR... I have no idea how we are going to feed our rimfire guns after the ammo bans take place... it may become cheaper to shoot and reload centerfire.

Shoot & reload 9mm. I've been doing that for a couple of years now. I've even built up 2 9mm ar's (soon to be "ASSAULT WEAPONS" LOL) I in Reno a couple of weeks ago and Cabelas had no .22LR selection. Wasn't able to check the other sporting goods stores."As soon as we burn 'em," Chinn said, "more come in."

I'm hoping its not going to be as bad as we think its going to be. If it is then I guess I'll have to move to another state, with or without my wife.It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

There is a reason I'm collecting PCCs right now... (pistol caliber carbines...)
That said, some would say just build an AK (haha!)
PS TargetSportsUSA has Federal AM22 going for 7 cents/round shipped if anyone is so-inclined:

In denver i just bought 2 525 round boxes (daily limit) but there are another 50 on the display (so I'll get more tomorrow), plus a display of 325 round boxes, plus 100 round boxes on another display, plus a whole shelf of .22LR. It's there, just not in CA.Peace, love, and heavy weapons. Sometimes you have to be insistent." - David Lee RothOriginally posted by KestryllDude went full CNN...Comment

Cabelas currently has a ship to store option, free. If that's still in place next year, you could have a few orders shipped there, and the amount you save on shipping and tax might make it halfway reasonable to take a trip there a few times a year. The downside is that their ammo prices aren't the best to start off with.Comment

The solution is stocking up heavily on .22 lr, we have until January 2018
9mm, 223, .45acp, etc won't likely be a problem to get out of state at a gun show, but reasonably priced bulk .22 lr is always going to be problematic to find.Comment
