I stopped in at two gun shops today. The first one had plenty of 22lr ammo starting at $4.99 for 50 ct. box.
The other shop had plenty of 22lr and 22 Mag on the shelf. He had three brands of 22Mag. One was CCI with the TNT bullet, it was $21.95 a 50ct box.

If any of you are running a little low on 22 ammo, just come by the house and I will fix you up.

UN Ammo has a good bit of 22 ammo in stock.

....Heads up that SWFA Outdoors has CCI STD Vel. for .08/round; $37 shipping to CA for a case, which I just bought. This deal is pretty much on par with the Palmetto deal ~ month ago. I've bought a few things from SWFA before and everything arrived in great shape.

You should aim for 7 - 7/12 cents-a-round OTD. Anything more is too much in today's market.

It's easy if you look around and are patient.

6 cents a round if you're paying attention and quick about it.

Just watch the deals forum. There's a 22lr deal a couple of times per week.

Not for CCI Mini-Mag's. $.095 is smoking and $.10-.11 is tolerable. I challenge you to show me anywhere to find Mini-Mags under $.09 shipped.

Same as it ever was. I've had no trouble finding 22LR. Just pick and choose your buys.

My Walmart has the 100-round boxes for 7.99 (.08 cents). But availability is somewhat limited. But they're there. You gotta be quick though and pay tax.

The Auto-Matches at Gander for 7.6 cents with no tax and free shipping is a decent deal. I would stock up while they still have free shipping.

Like you said, tax. Assuming you are at 8.5%, that $7.99 is $8.67 = .087/ea. Not bad but also not very likely to score. Don't they also have 2 or 3 box limits? And don't you constantly have to go to and hang out at the Walmart to get them? I have NEVER seen Mini-Mags at my local Walmarts.

Anyway, when I can score Mini-Mags in bulk, online, shipped to my door for .095 - .11, I jump all over it. Since subscribing to this thread I have done just that. Thousands and thousands are now occupying ammo cans at my place!
