Walked into my local big 5 yesterday and they had the most bulk (300+ rnd) boxes I've seen there in awhile. Not a crazy amount but it's usually 50 or 100 rnd count. Also 10% off on anmo, and it actually included .22. Thats also the first time in a long time that I've seen that.

Prices, even with coupon didn't wow me but I grabbed a box of winchester 333 anyways.

Cabelas doesn't sellsell 22 ammo to California last time I tried to order.

I was at the Ammo Bros in Ontario yesterday and they had a good amount of .22 available. The guy said that it was unusual that they have that much. It's interesting that their website does not reflect the correct inventory and price. Anyway, got me some Federal @ $21.99/325 rounds.

got the big five sale paper today and they have 500 round bricks of 22 for 89 bucks. it is called PRIME and made in germany. and ad says it will be 99 bucks after the sale ends. so dont worry 22 is for sale everywhere now LOL.

Got lucky today at Sportsmens Warehouse in Rancho Cordova. Got bucket o bullets (1400rnds) for $99 plus tax. Last one.

Was at bass pro in San Jose at 10am. they had about 50 boxes of the federal 325rd auto match bulk pack for $19.99 each . Limit 2 . So I grabbed two boxes.

I just bought a bucket of golden bullets, 1400 rounds for a hundred bucks at dicks. They had lots of other brands of bricks as well. Went to big5, they have 22 ammo too. I was going to stop buying ammo. In light of all the new laws they want to enact, I changed my mind.

22 ammo is out there from .08 t0 .40 cents you just have to know where to look and be willing to check every other day to catch the good deals.

Not long ago I was asked how much 22lr ammo I had. My answer was right at 20,000 rounds. I was called a hoarder. I asked what was the proper amount a person should have for each 22 weapon they owned. I was told 1,000 per gun. I then advised that I was about 30,000 rounds short and needed to buy more.
I have close to 60 weapons chambered in 22lr and have always kept plenty on hand. I used to buy at less 500 rounds a week before 22 ammo started drying up. I have Federal 550 packs that have $9.95 price tags on them.
I have firends that have kids that hunt with 22s and have given away ammo over the last two years so that they could keep hunting. I also gave 2,000 rounds to the Young Marines program in my area.
