Not too many places ship to Sacramento these days. Ammo Supply Warehouse in Nevada still does. Just bought 2000 rounds of Amscor 36g hollow for my M&P 15-22. The gun seems to love this ammo even though others say it is awful. Price was .07 if I recall...

I'd like to know how much the manufacturer's are getting from this increase. As of now I'd say retail prices are +60% what they were 5 years ago, does that sound about right?

Or am I using fuzzy math. I do get that fuzzy math going on sometimes on Friday nights

The manufacturers have not changed the pricing.
It is all done after they sell it.
We have a NorCal supplier who sells 22 ammo for his standard mark up whenever he gets some and his price is cheap compared to what you see here in the private ammo sales forum.

Thanks Lynn, that's kind of what I thought. Maybe we all need to stick together and stop buying 22LR. I could go for 5 years without buying any.
That's not reflected on how much I have, more like how much we shoot.

Hmm, stopped by my local Big 5 just Tuesday. They had two 500-round bricks of Prime ammo (never heard of it before). I asked how much they were and the guy said they were $100 each. I walked out.

I did the same thing this week in our local Big 5, other than I said their nutz and I'd shoot my Stingers/Velocitors before I bought that crap.

The new Sportsman's Warehouse in Rohnert Park has a lot of 22 ammo but you are limited to one bulk pack or 3 of the smaller packs so I only got 300 mini mags for $8.99 each.

Yeah, the Sportsmans Warehouse here has alot of the same 100 round packs for 7.99 each... Same limit of 3. Lots of stingers and velocitors too. They had 100 packs of golden bullets also but for 8.99... ??? Believe it or not $1.00 more than the mini mags.....

I was at Guns, Fishing and Other Stuff in Vacaville yesterday and they had quite a bit of Federal AutoMatch 325 boxes for $26.99 each plus tax. No limit.

Went to the new Dicks sporting goods in Los Cerritos shopping mall to get some new golf shoes. While there checked out the ammo section. They had 6 bricks of Thunderturds for $40, 1 brick of Golden Bullets for $35. Had HMR also with well stocked across the board selections of all other ammo. Good to see.
