Just picked up several hundred at LGS of CCI mini mags, that I can use the rebate for making them $8 per hundred pack.

Last week got a wooden box of Winchester 500 pack for $50 (from Big5). Took some newbies out shooting for their first time yesterday and they burned that up quick. I'm happy with that as there are now two more "converts" well worth the $50 (even though they gifted me even more in return).

Big5 in Downey, CCI SV $5.49 for 50. They had about 36 on the shelf. Lots in stock of all calibers.

Federal AutoMatch .22 LR 40 gr SLD Rimfire Ammunition - 325/box

In stock right now. With shipping it comes out to around $0.09/rd. It ain't the best price, but it isn't too bad either.

Jeez. I remember buying those for $21/brick...that was less than a year ago.

I tried Remington GB once - after a couple hundred rounds, my gun wouldn't function reliably - needed cleaning.

They are dirty, but some of my guns function more reliably on the GBs than say Federal bulk, Winchester or Automatch. Those are all too weak to cycle the slides reliably.

The "old" golden Bullets were that way for me, but these newer "improved" GBs I like a lot better and are more accurate as well.

Been having good luck scoring CCI "Choot em" 300 round packs at Walmart. Picked up 3 packs about 8 days ago and picked up another 3 packs yesterday. Thats 1800 rounds in two trips...

I added a Browning Buck Mark to the armory so now I have turned into one of those pathetic retirees who troll Walmart for .22 LR. Early bird catches the worm...

How do those GB's run on the marlin 795? I've been shooting mini-mags with no problem and I have 2 boxes of GB's just been skeptical on how they would shoot with the marlin

I just bought 2 boxes (there were 4) of Auto Match at the Walmart near Carson & Cherry for about $20/ea after tax. I don't really need any but felt obligated as I haven't seen 22 ammo there in over a year. If I ever see Federal bulk packs there (or anywhere) I 'll pick up a couple of them also.

Dang, that WM is not to far from my house. I should drop in, have not been there in over 2 years.
