Gander Mountain had mini-mag varmint (hollow point) for 7.99/100 no tax and free shipping the other day. I bought two orders of the 5 min - .08/round is pretty good these days for mini-mag. It says sold out now, but check back and it goes back up in stock randomly (had it 3 or 4 days a week recently).

      It is amazing

It always amazes me how fast one can shoot 500 rounds of .22. Defies the laws of physics. Even out of a 9 shot revolver, my friend and I can run through a whole box.

I don't see it ever being less than $40 a brick ever again. The best way to deal with that is try and earn more money to offset the costs.

He told me he went in this week and went to the ammo counter. He said a customer was already there, and the sales clerk was on the phone helping a customer. He said he walked up and waited just a few seconds. When the clerk saw two people waiting, he reached over and opened a cabinet. My brother said there were four bricks of .22 inside. The clerk, without stopping his conversation with the phone customer, reached in the cabinet, and gave one brick to the other customer, then one brick to my brother.
Neither my brother nor the other customer were looking for .22 so they stayed to speak with the clerk. They both bought the brick they were handed- on sale for $14.99, with no tax (Oregon).

          Now that's a sale! .03/rd !!!

That's the reason that I never bring the entire brick with me. I usually open the box, grab 50-75 rounds, and head to the range. Believe it or not, a measly 75 rounds can last me 1.5 hours.

It's been up for 4 or 5 days now. If you want a reduced shipping charge, just add a 'cheap' free shipping item to your order.

Yup, I bought the last two boxes of .22LR at Wal Mart at Murphy Canyon Rd last week. Price was OK.

That's pretty damn good. The bulk of my GB hoarding was done when Cabelas had it often at 23.99 usually with $5 shipping, sometimes free...

Buckets were never as cheap cost per round delivered.

Pretty comparable Walmart price. Puts you about .056 per round after tax. I'd hit it.

Target Sports has Aguilla Super Extra for $38.50 per brick limit 2500 rounds. Shipping is about $19 on 2500 though.

Buy bulk ammo for sale with free shipping at Target Sports USA. Enjoy great deals on cheap ammunition including 22lR ammo, 9mm & 5.56mm ammo.

Not bad. Yeah it is out there. All I got was four .50 cal cans for Black Friday, but cleared some of my "Misc." Shelves... I didn't get enough cans, but I figure if I actually shoot some, I'll have plenty of cans. Filled these three plus one more. Got another 2400 can of mini-mags organized.

Good availability. Brownells & Midway USA both had good inventory, not real cheap. Ave 10 to 13 cents delivered for high velocity (CCI / Anguilla / SK)
