My local Ace Hardware has a good selection of .22lrs. I now pay about $40.00 for a brick of CCI-SVs. That's $4.00 more for a brick than Dick's before the panic.
I see no point in buying HV HPs since lead is becoming verboten in CA for hunting and I don't have to rely on a .22 for protection.

Im pretty sure thats going to be the new going price for 22 ammo.

Peopl have already proven they will pay that on here so whats to stop a dealer from getting more these days?

I have seen it more lately saw a good amount at turners last month ans seen it at midway too.I bought some for less than what flippers are selling it for here so yeh it did feel good but IMO its going to be the new normal price.

Look what happened after the last shortage 10 bucks before 20-25 after.

If Gavin Newsom gets his new ammo laws, you can pretty much kiss 22LR goodbye. The rat race to get it will be like never before and the price will skyrocket because there will be no chance for out of state supply, we will all be beholden to instate retail outlets and their prices + the ammo tax and the inflated prices due to the arduous new rules to sell it.

I think we are going to need grass roots action like never before to defeat this thing and save our sport.

Finally got around to checking out the local (to me) Bass Pro Shop in Rocklin, Ca.

Cool store, wife & kids thought so too...

My main reason to check it out, .22 ammo.

They had some... Blazer .22LR, 50 Rnd boxes, three boxes per family for $2.59 ea

There was a employee re-stocking the shelf as fast as people were grabbing boxes. Nothing over a 50rnd box on the shelf

The shelves looked well stocked with everything else though

Sportmans Warehouse in Rancho Cordova has lots and lots of Remington 500 end and 525 rnd bricks. Been there three times this week and has been on shelves all 3 days. $32.99 / $34.99. Glad to see the "shortage" and hoarding / flipping may be coming to an end. Limit was one box per visit.

Just walked out of Big 5 in Simi Valley. They had about 20 boxes of Aguila 50 round packs) for 5.49 and around 30 boxes of the high velocity Aguila for around 8.00 a box

Thanks for the tip! Just grabbed the last 300rd box at Big 5 in Culver City (although it's not any cheaper than buying their 50rd boxes in bulk).

                        Nice to find CCI locally.
