awesome, good luck to you. I know it'll be hard, but try not to obsess over it. I already knew it would be a few months for mine to arrive so I put it in the back of my mind. Didn't really start following timelines and checking the estore every now and then until I got an email saying my ammo shipped.

Took just under 4 months for me to get mine, just to give you an idea. Still cleaning it up. Now I need to find time to make it out to the desert so I can try it out.

Not really gonna be all obsses looking at the status of it. But since been brought up, where are you guys looking status of the order? I already have an estore account with cmp.

Yeah I cant wait till I get it tho. I got myself a mosin nagant too and been wanting to shoot it somewhere in the desert, but i am a noob of where I have to go.

As far as where to go, it's on your e store account open orders/pending orders under my account. Should show up a couple weeks to month after you receive your dbu email.

It took about 2 months for my order to show up in my pending orders. The way I found out was I got an email confirmation about my ammo being shipped. The ammo order moved to history and I had my enbloc order and rifle order in pending with an open status. It was about another month for the enbloc clips and 2 more for the rifle.

As for where to shoot in the desert, I dont have any secret spots, yet, but if you're in SoCal, you can always head out to Hodge Rd or continue North on the 15 and shoot out past Barstow. I'm new to shooting in the desert myself too, but I've read some good info on spots in the forum

Springfield Field Grade (1) Serial number 3420xxx. Jan of '45. Barrel was replaced with a SA '51. Mixmaster of wood and parts as expected of a Field Grade. Decent reading for a Field Grade on the Muzzle and Throat Wear. Overall pretty happy. Not sure what the hole is on the bottom of the pistol grip?

BEAAUUUTIIIFUUULLL metal on the reciever and bolt. Looks to be maybe 95% % on the metal behind the handguards. Dings on the gas tube, new production wood. I've only popped the trigger group but it looks to be a 6+Mil SA trigger. Can't quite distinguish the bolt codes just yet. Meh.
