That has to be some sort of record! I can't recall seeing any processed that quickly since I started paying attention.

Does anyone know of any online clubs where I can get proof of membership immediately to try and get in order in ASAP?

CRPA is several weeks, Garand Collectors Association is "6-8 weeks."

you can join/Pay GCA membership via Online and send in copy of GCA online receipt.

My GCA card arrived in less than a week (paid online in early Sept). That 6-8 week wait is probably from earlier this year.

SA Field grade(sticky note: would also accept a Service grade SA or HRA) Just hope to have it before the end of the year...

I got a call that it is on backorder, but the backorder list is way smaller than the HRA SG so I will most likely get a SA FG. Also said they are getting quicker at shipping them out so there should not be a problem getting it by January...

When I sent in my order, I joined CRPA and just included the email copy of my reciept that stated I had joined.

Looks to me like the Springfields all of a sudden are ready to roll and shipping ASAP.....hard choice because I want my rifle now, but I Realllllly want the HRA.

When you join you are given an option to send to CMP... Be sure to check that selection.

Received a 1955 that appears to be in pretty good condition. The thing is dripping in cosmo and I will post more pics as soon as I get a chance to clean it up.

- HRA collector grade metal in excellent almost new condition. Walnut stocks and handguards and associated hardware are new manufacture. NOT original HRA manufacture.


So the HRA 'Special" is apparently not original, but in a bit better shape, and may ship sooner. The other 'regular' Servie Grade HRA seems original, less expensive, but may take much longer to ship.
