CMP M1 Garand thread!!!!!

I sent in my CMP order today for a Service Grade HRA Garand, a web sling, and 25 En-Block clips, total was 685 out the door. Sent via USPS Priority flat rate envelope, requested a USGI walnut stock, will I get it since I requested it? money well spent. any news on how long the wait is? I heard of people that ordered it early June, and they got it early July, so about 4 weeks total for them

My order for a HRA SG was received on 3/28 and I don't have it yet. Three and a half months so far.

Expired US Passport okay for Proof of citizenship?

I don't believe an expired passport will work, but it's worth contacting them and asking the question. Their website and forms don't say if the passport has to be current or not but it would suck for your order to be held up just because your passport is expired. Please report back with what they tell you so we can all learn if it is acceptable or not.

They received my order May 8th and I have not seen a thing yet about the rifle, but have received ammo that i ordered on May 20th. And they hit my card today for enbloc clips I ordered on May 20th.

My HRA Garand hit the Estore today and I got a shipment notice for the ammo I had placed on the same order!

I just checked the estore and my Garand has shipped right on schedule, I should receive it the am but still no order pending for the ammo. I ordered the Hornady ammo so i could shoot it at the local range. Hopefully it will show up soon.
