I collect Military Arms and enjoy shooting in local matches. I also collect older Lever Actions, especially those chambered in odd/old cartridges. If you have a nice old Winchester or Marlin in 25-20, 32-40, 38-55, 40-60, 45-70, etc etc, please PM me and we can work out a deal.

The only real hassle is you have to find a Livescan provider and make an appointment to be fingerprinted. Then you send in this app:
I've had a lot of problems using my COE, even at stores that do dozens of transfers per day, they are literally clueless when I whip out the COE. It gets a little irritating after a while, especially when I have already used it at that same store and the next time they can't remember the law. It depends on what the Live Scan person charges, but I think the total for everything was $90 to $95 for the first year and then $30 per year to renew.
If you are near Antioch, there is a place about 1 block from Antioch Armory, on the second floor of a building across from Pantell's Music Box. Check your local PD's too. Some of them might be able to do it too at a much lower cost.Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Let me try to answer a few questions.
I got it for a few reasons main one of which was to eliminate the 1 per 30 day handgun farce.
Cost involved, once you find a place that does livescan (many ups stores do) it is not too expensive. The fee to the place I went was $20 I think the rest was the FBI and DOJ fees. I think it came to $94 total.
Looks like someone already posted the site to apply. It is not a big deal, fill it out do some finger prints and send it off.Some people talk about it and some people do it.Comment
