      What is Lu?

This case is associated with Assenza vs. Los Angeles, and is being litigated by C. D. Michel and Associates.

Some of the plaintiffs may even be Calguns members!

I thought that was the assenza continuation. Does chuck have 2?
CGF filed a case called Lu, though she was dismissed as a plaintiff.

Assenza v. LA and Davis v. LA are two separate cases. Very similar.

Lu is suing because LASD requires people to apply and be denied in their respective cities.

I think Lu was dismissed and it is just CGF as the plaintiff with msj's coming up but I can't find an update or case number.

So Davis is Assenza part 2 and is on appeal?

Looks like this case was fully briefed as of the 6th. Next stop: oral arguments before the state court of appeals.

                    These cases are against LAPD.

Lu is against LASD for requiring CCW applicants in issuing cities to get letters of denials from their CoP before applying w/the sheriff.
