So here's my Appaloosa story. I've might of told this to Apples don't remember..... Anyhoo. We were heading out of town for the weekend. We have some good friends that were part of the movie industry for many years on the lens side of the camera. They were gonna be dog sitting our two pups while we were out of town, something that they had done several times before. My wife, Nichole, had hauled the two dogs out to their ranch and when she got there Darr was cleaning up the kitchen. This was just prior to the start of the filming of Appaloosa. She'd mentioned that Ed Harris and Viggo along with Rex (the horse trainer for the film) had ridden over for lunch. Viggo and Ed where up getting use to the horses they were going to ride in the movie. Rex had been using a steep hill behind our friend's ranch, to get the horses legged up (fit) for that climb that Viggo makes up that steep hill to talk to the Apaches in the movie. So they'd been working on that and then stopped by for lunch before riding back to Rex's place. My wife says: "Viggo Mortensen was here?" Darr says "Yep.", while still wiping down the counter. The wife says. "Viggo was here for lunch and you didn't call me?.......you beech!" It was the second time Nichole had called Darr a beech. First time was when we were talking together on a road trip and Darr had mentioned she had dated Sam Elliot for six months. That got another "you beech", from Nichole. And thats my Appaloosa story. Great movie.

There's never a problem owning a couple of 1873s... be they Winchesters or Colts.
The question is, really, does their acquisition make your life unmanageable? Are you foregoing other financial commitments? Don't answer that.
TWO IS ONE, and ONE IS NONE.
The only! problem I see, here, is that there is no 1873 in my armory! and while this may be considered a rather grave oversight on my part, I assure you that the many Marlin firearms I do possess does to a certain degree mitigate my irresponsibility in this regard.
Oh, and congrats!

I’m already outbid on one of them. I’m just gonna wait till the last 15 minutes to put in my final offer, rather than drive the price up with time to spare. It took a couple hours for me to be outbid so I’m assuming there isn’t someone out there with a huge Max bid in place, unless of course it was the last guy to bid, lol.Originally posted by MelvinoelGreat**My friend, your Chargers sure are looking good tonight. and maybe something to cushion the recoil. (for the girls, lol, hahahaha).
