Single-action whirlenpoppers are the sidearms of the MLC.

    ...as are 1911s.

^ ^ ^ ALWAYS glad to have posted here these wonderful photo-graphs.

Man! If we EVER get over this covid-'rona deal, we GOT to have a big 'ol MLC get-together, with a proper firing line, rangemaster, hot line, ceasefires (so we can EAT without having to wear earpro) and Horsewright (and his entourage), his cook and that chuckwagon!

          We just GOT to.

But then again I just had my first cup and I'm about to go whittle up some breakfast grub. I might be kinda biased.

I've had an 83 Premier for about 10 years. I liked the fact that it has a lifetime warranty over the Field which is one year. I was told at the time of order that the standard lead time was 9 weeks since they typically build to order. I was in luck, though, since they had a model (to my specs) in stock. Nothing special, 454 Casull 7 1/2" barrel they only had to fit a .45 Colt cylinder which took a week or so.

I had no problem finding brass (Starline) and the revolver comes with a full reloading manual.

You have made a magnificent choice, you are going to be delighted with this outstanding revolver.

I've attached the 25 yard five shot test card that came with the gun.

              So no Standard Manufacturing SAA?
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Freedom Arms 83, Standard Manufacturing SAA? Damn, those are some NICE guns right there! I'm gonna look at my Taylor and pretend it's one of those.
                Taylor shoots pretty good tho.

Hope everyone had a good thanksgiving too! I’m still eating leftovers lol.

I’d love to get me an FA silhouette model in .41 mag.

                        Oh-

                        Here’s a bittersweet story:

On Black Friday I stopped by the shop where Apples picked up his .375.

At the counter was a guy planning to consign a couple of guns; a 9mm Shield and a...

“Wal Mart special” (his words) Winchester 94....

                        Trapper. In .44 mag.

He said to make him an offer if I was really interested (I was already chatty lol) but alas, I said I couldn’t buy anything else until mid 2021. Plus he already made a deal with the shop and didn’t want to interject.

I should have gotten it and sold off a spare 870 or something. Don’t know much about them other than that I remembered seeing the trappers in my 90s Winchester catalogs as a kid.

All I went home with was this...sorry it’s not a single action

You know why I don't come here?
It's because you folks cost me money.

So, I got the 92 bug, on top of looking for a pair of SAA with Army grips.
It's gonna be an expensive couple of months provided anything becomes available.

                          Merry Christmas to everyone!

OHHH, let me be a bit of an enabler. SAA with Army grips? EMF Co. has under the 1873's/Alchemesta[or something close to that spelling]. Priced very reasonable. Take a look.

Oh, I know. Thankfully EMF is out of the Alchimista IIs in .357.
I just got to handle a Pard's Taylor short stroked gunfighter last weekend. I'm a goner. I know where a couple are at, it's just a 40 plus day ordeal to get a matched pair.

                              Thanks Kamala...

I have a Taylor .45 Colt with the tuned trigger. Sweet shooter it is! Mine is the "Old Randall" model. I may even like it better than my Pietta "Gunfighter", also in .45 Colt. You're buying habits may be in trouble. Been there, still doing it.
