...Matt Dillon also. My three .45/454 single actions have 6 1/2" (Super Blackhawk Bisley) and 7 1/2" (Blackhawk Bisley and FA 83) barrels. Better sight radius (all have adjustable sights) and terminal performance, especially from the Model 83.

I think the extra weight out front helps with muzzle rise during recoil as well, especially from the 454s.

Nice, a very good price for what looks to be a display model. You could do a whole lot of practice with that, and not be concerned with wearing out an original Colt.

Until one of us is ready to assume the role of Range Officer, we're limiting our group numbers to 2 or 3 people. I often shoot alone but that is certainly not a best practice. Like scuba diving, we should be shooting together at least using the buddy system. MLC founders golfish, pennstater and I will occasionally get together too.

We have suggested in the past (first, because the MLC was conceived during the Original Lockdowns thanks to Covid-19) that rather than trying to herd cats, everyone just simply make their own plans to go shooting, take some photos then share them here in this thread.

Sort of a Zo0m version of the MLC, if you will. Again, until someone wishes to assume the necessary mantle of range tough guy. Only way to handle a group of shooters greater than 5 or so in number.

Oh I'm Hella slow compared to some of the MLC crew here.

Don't be so quick to downgrade yer skills... few if any on the MLC roster have said they shoot in SASS competition. I certainly don't, but may someday. Too many other irons in the fire at the moment.

My friend goes by Lead Dispencer in SASS.
I prefer self-loaders and was once an A class 3gun shooter.
