Feedback on SSE Dealer - Dont Use

I would recommend NOT going to Wild Bill's in Elk Grove. I have had a negative experience with them that I regret using them for this. On the Gen4 Glocks, both Blue Label (LE) and Red Label (consumer) are supposted to come with three magazines. I called Glock to verify this and was told this was the fact for both. When I got my pistol, only two magazines were delivered. After I verified what Glock shipped with their units, I called back the Wild Bill's and was told that ONLY LE models came with three mags. And on top of that the person I spoke to was rude.

Aditionally, they took 18 days for the 10 day waiting period.

I also had checked out Sacramento Black Rifle and regret not going with them as they also do SSE. It's a shame for Wild Bill's since next on my shopping list is a G19, G23 and a Black Rifle. Oh well, from thier perspective, they got a 'spare magazine'. But Sacramento Black Rifle will get ALL of my future business.

They told me I was wrong. I just got off the phone with Glock and they verified AGAIN that the pistol shipped with 3 gen4 mags. I received 1 Gen4 mag and 1 Gen3 mag. Also found out that their status as a stocking dealer with Glock is no longer valid. I hate being lied to. Now I need to find the owner's name and and bypass the front desk.

Short analysis - either they are stealing magazines, or thier distributor is stealing magazines.

If you are looking for SSE in Sacramento area, dont use Wild Bills.

The latest is that I finally got the third magazine. I had to get to the manager Tom and he gave me the third mag. As he was explaining what happens, he states that the pistols come from Glock with the 15 round mags and since he has to replace them with Ca Compliant 10 rounders, this is the cost swap (2 10 round = 3 15 round).

Personally, I have a hard time buying that one, just a shame I had to 'invest the time to help them understand'.

I'm hoping you can give me some direction. I'm considering ordering a 1911 but it's not on the list so SSE is the only way to go. Question is delivery time could / would be in excess of 10 months, is there anything pending that could change SSE in that time frame?

Some shops arent going to give you the hicap mags with the gun. When I Sse'd my HK thru Ryan he shipped me thr rebuild kits and the pistol to my ffl and then directed me to a couple online sources for 10 rounders. Why with almost every manufacture are the 10new rounders nearly twice as much!

Thanks for the thread and info Cyc Wid It. I'm new to guns and was fortunate enough to stumble across this before making my first purchase. Recently picked up a Gen 4 Glock 19 from Direct Action Solutions; they made the process painless and exchanged the three 15 round magazines for 10 rounders.
