I have worked with Sheriff Moore on a couple of minor projects. From my experience, I am not sure if one could conclude he is a "terrible" Sheriff. I am certain however that one could say he is an adept politician. He knows how to raise money and he knows how to find support for elections. Having said that, I find it interesting that he is issuing CCWs, unlike many other Sheriffs across the State. And while I do not know for sure, I have been told that he is somewhat skeptical of the idea that the average citizen should have a CCW. Despite this, he is issuing CCWs --albeit slowly, cautiously, and perhaps even somewhat restrictively. So nonetheless, he is issuing CCWs --and given the current political landscape he does not have to. Does this make him a bad Sheriff? A good politician?

    I don't know. You decide...

What else does the sheriff office not do ?

It was yesterday, and I was only there for about 30 minutes. I'm gonna go out on a limb & say they probably issued licenses to more than just me & the 4 guys I saw while I was there.

Also, there were 4 other people picking up their Licenses while I was there. One guy was from 4/12, one from 4/28 and I didn't talk to the other 2.
