Recieved a call from background investigator today with additional questions re: speeding tickets and old issues I've had as a teenager. According to Investigator they will pass it up the chain of command and hope for an answer in a couple weeks.

Never mind, just found it via a previous post by him....4/18 was his original interview date.
LOL, why do I have a suspicion that the whole stack from 4/16 was lost. I haven't heard one person getting approval from that date (several now days/weeks after).Comment

Fellas, I have my appointment next month and I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row. The cover letter so graciously provided by this very website says to bring two checks. One made out for $19 and one for $120. On the Sheriff's information packet it says $19 and $28? Nevermind... I'm overthinking this. I'll make the check out when I get there!ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕPaul

I'm starting to wonder the same about 4/14. I know there were a few other applicants in the lobby that day with me.The user formerly known as "han_cholo"Comment

My buddy from 4/9 just got approved the other day so although I know someone from later in the month got a call it seems that was an isolated incident. If your after 4/9 then just keep waiting... I'm sure they haven't lost your paperwork.

I called last week and was told that they are still working on April interviews. I asked why it was that people that interviewed after me were getting approvals and was told "we are processing the applications in order". When I mentioned that I knew of at least three people that went in after me and had received their approvals, the phone got quiet for a minute and then I was told to be patient...If it ain't broke, keep fixin' it 'til it is...Comment

Being patient
My interview was April 23. I cannot believe that the process is taking this long. Sheriff Moore has certainly slowed down the pace since prior to the election."Back off Lawman". (Chato)Comment

I'm on day 145 that is 55 days that they have broken the law I am getting frustrated and not sure what we need to do. If no one stands up they will continue their tactics. If we do stand up he may change his stance...gotta love the catch 22Comment
