Not quite as far along as you guys, 140 days (20 weeks) as of today.
would love to see some more movement on this

2/24/14. I called for the appointment.
4/23/14. Had my appointment at 2:00pm.
9/9/14. Had my phone interview last week.
9/16/2014 APPROVED out of Tracy
148 days total

Interviewed 4/30, got the approval today. Interestingly they never called with additional questions like I'm hearing with a lot of people - maybe they're eliminating that step to speed up the process.

Congrats 1919A4!

I asked for a bit more movement, and I got some myself.
Received a call this morning from my original investigator today to follow up on some of the questions such as the "was I planning on carrying at work".

Based on 1919A4 timing, perhaps I will get another call next Tuesday.

Timing so far:

4/7/2014 - 4/18/2014 - Phone tag with SJSO OPR
4/21/2014 - Called/call-back for appointment
4/28/2014 - Appointment interview, 8am
6/16/2014 - Called to check on background and add 3rd serial
7/22/2014 - Walked in, added 3rd serial
9/16/2014 - Received call from Investigator for followup/confirmation questions

I am happy for you and do not have a problem with them handling it the way they did for you but I do have a problem with their inconsistency. They need to do the same thing for everyone and they need to stop jumping around so much.

Just letting off steam we should not have to wait months on end for our ccw's . We would not wait this long for a building permit or business license from the county why do we put up with Moore dragging his feet on issueing permits .He needs to know that he works for us and not the other way around . I hope everyone has a memory like an elephant if he runs for any office again .There are lots of ways to staff the position of the investigator he could use light duty officers and other it is clear to me once he was reelected issueing ccw's or listening to the voters in the county is not important to him .
