My interview was 4/23, no calls of any kind yet.
Has anyone been getting hassled for taking their training class prior to approval? I took mine a few months ago along with a buddy who got his approval, and I have heard from one guy who claims they made him retake the class since too much time had elapsed between his class and approval. I have no idea what that time limit is.Comment

I asked about this for San Joaquin and they told me since it was there fault for the long delays they would accept my training. Interviewed on 4/16 and training on 4/27.My interview was 4/23, no calls of any kind yet.

If the US 1st amendment were treated like the 2nd amendment by US politicians, we will need a license to speak in public, need a background check to buy a book, and can only buy one every 30 days. They say the pen is mightier than the sword, yet the sword is the most regulated part of the constitution.Comment

"Received a call this morning from my original investigator today to follow up on some of the questions such as the "was I planning on carrying at work".
Is there a 'correct answer' to this question when on the phone interview?"
Answer: Investigators are now asking for a copy of your employer's firearm policy before approval.Comment

When they asked you, did you bring the letter from your supervisor stating if you were or were not allowed to carry, I brought in a letter signed by my manager that I was unable to carry at work signed by him and his card stapled to it.Comment

I think the 'correct answer' should think is the truthful, however, if you say no, they will ask if it is because of policy or personal reasons; if you say yes, they may want to see the policy and/or have a note from your employer stating it is ok for you to carry at work.Comment
