Kokanee.... yes I turned in the Dr. Stuff before he sent it up to the Sheriff.... I'm wondering if it takes longer to get the denial letter than it takes to get a approval ? I'm not very hopeful at this point and I'm expecting a denial....

I know they mail the denials. So yes it would take longer.

Just got a call from the Sheriff's office, he wants to meet with me on 10/25... Not sure why though??

I had my interview with the sheriff yesterday. He looked through my record and notes and picked out that I have a company car and I work from home. I then asked why I needed to carry a gun then. I told him for personal protection then he asked if I have been in a situation before where I needed it. It felt like an interrogation. Just be prepared to answer confidently.

Well, so much for the one year permitting process.
So many I know have gotten their permits one year to the day.
Today was my one year, no calls, no permit.
So tomorrow it'll be over a year and counting. Uhhh!!!!!
Was hoping the process was getting better, not worse?

I wasn't given a time frame on my renewal but he did say it should be done pretty quickly.

Just had my interview with the sheriff. He was really grilling me cause of the petty theft incident from 7 yrs ago. Then he asked why I needed to carry a gun, told him for personal protection and to protect my wife and kid.

He did the same to me and asked me if there was something that happened that made me feel the need to carry. I told him that if the need arises, I wanted to be prepared.

Back almost 2 years ago I was approved 2 days after my interview with Sheriff Moore.
