Got a call yesterday for my 2 year renewal. Submitted the paper work end of June. So 3 1/2 months for my renewal.

Still probably a year for a new app.

Got "The Call" from investigator 08/30/2016 saying he's sending it up to the Sheriff's Desk

Kokanee.... yes I turned in the Dr. Stuff before he sent it up to the Sheriff.... I'm wondering if it takes longer to get the denial letter than it takes to get a approval ? I'm not very hopeful at this point and I'm expecting a denial....

Got any kind of record? I had some arrests going back 40 years and had my interview with Sheriff Moore. All I can tell you is tell him the absolute truth on everything. If you don't, he will know.

Seems to me that he picks out a few to interview personally. Not a problem in and of itself.

You said in a previous post that you weren't arrested or cited for the incident. Just curious if that came up in your background check or did you volunteer that info in your app/interview?

I spoke to PD this morning and they said that the incident counts as an arrest.. The investigator brought it up and asked for more details when he called last month.
