Nice. There could be all kinds of reasons someone cancels. I wish someone would have cancelled when I applied. But seeing as I applied after the San Bernardino shooting I knew that wasn't going to happen.

I agree, that would be awesome to see! I know a good amount of people that have their CCW and that's mainly what encouraged me to obtain one. I'm curious what the current statistics are for SBCSD CCW's.

8500 Active Issued and 500 in the pipeline as of the beginning of this month, per the Chief himself.

Hi Musty, I moved from Chino to Tehachapi, (Kern cnty), in October 2017. It only took 37 days to get my new permit. And no waiting for any interview, just turn the app in and start the clock.

My call notifying my approval and schedule for the range was the day before. We were on our way to AZ for a short vacation.

I am personally responsible for 5 of my co-workers who otherwise would never have thought they could get a permit to get one. I'm working on 2 more right now. I even helped a couple of them out money-wise who had issues with the expense.

My former boss's son specifically moved east of Claremont when he got married and moved out so he could apply.

Probably 2-3 times a week (including yesterday) I am in someone's house and I realize they are shooters and I ask them if they have their CCW. About 95% say no, but they are "thinking about it." Still a lot of misconceived notions out there too.... "I heard you have to have ____________ " etc.
