So today I got a call to voicemail from a deputy in Victorville asking to call back to schedule fingerprints....I call back and laughing he answers that all the slots are full for the 24th of June....Bullspit., so they gonna take it one day a month to fingerprint?....he said Ill get another call for another date to their "convenience"....Lazy ****s

June 24th is a Saturday. The VV CCW office is only open Tuesdays and Thursdays.

According to the CCW page they do not do renewals.

How are they processing new apps while the rest of us sit and wait????
Time for more folks to email them!!

Thats what threw me off, he said saturday and was laughing too....Not sure if he was full of ****...When I initially went last month to drop off my paperwork he had stacks of folders from people initially applying , not sure if they are doing renewals too....I wish I had known before this was gonna be full of ****, i wouldnt have left my money orders

They told me that they "most likely lost all of my information" & gave me a little blue card to carry with me that extends my permit another 120 days...said I'd get a phone call to go back & re-take my photo, etc. once they're able to determine if my info was lost.

I wonder when this happened. I was just down there the end of last month to drop off my renewal package. An "extension" card was not offered. I also wonder if they still have our email information to contact us if this extension is really being offered? Or, do we need to email them so they have it on file again. Then again, my email is in my renewal package. I really hate bugging Sara. Their website is being updated because they have added a line about their CCW system being down. They could let us know about this that way.

Just received this in email after asking about extensions for those of us that are approaching or have expired but turned in renewal paperwork.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we continue to face issues with our system. We will be mailing out extension cards that you will attach to your permit which will give you permission to carry. We will reach out to you with more information as it is available.

It is my understanding from a FB post that they are valid for 120 days.

Is that lawful? Is there an exception or other provision legislatively that 120 days can be added at the whim of a Sheriff?
