But there are some people who will get the 120-day extension with 60 days already elapsed, unless they are dated from the time issued and not backdated to the expiration date.
Even if it is a manual process they need to pick up the stack from April and send those out. Then May, then June, etc.

Thanks for the info. Some of us have already been expired 60+ days!

My expiration date was 6/15. Just got my little blue extension card in the mail today. I hope the rest of you get yours soon.

Interesting...supposedly there is/was a typo that caused a delay in them being mailed.

This is a positive development. As a new applicant who finished range day (one day) after they were hacked . . . I've been waiting for my CCW to arrive in the mail. I contacted the SBCSD CCW office just 3 days ago and Rebeca said they are waiting for the Chiefs to approve a new system (replacing the one they lost), then it would have to be installed and integrated into their system. No timeline was given.

                    Date of Hack: 04/07/2023
                    My range day: 04/08/2023

Anyone NOT adding a firearm to their CCW got their license the same day. There were quite a few of us that added firearms so we had to wait . . .

Was there anyone apart of the April 8 range day that received their CCW in the mail??

We apologize for the inconvenience, but we continue to face issues with our system. We will be mailing out extension cards that you will attach to your permit which will give you permission to carry. We will reach out to you with more information as it is available.

This is the email I received from SBCSD CCW unit this morning. Just hang in there guys, I truly believe that they are doing everything that they can with whatever they have.

We are still facing system difficulties and the permits have been delayed. We are waiting on our Chiefs to get the approval for a new and updated system that will replace the one we lost. I understand the frustration because our unit feels it as well. Our hands are tied until we get the support that we have been requesting. We will be mailing out extension cards on Saturday that you will attach to your permit which will give you permission to carry.

Good for you. I turned in my renewal paperwork 80+ days ago and have gotten nothing but BS from them.

Just noticed that the links to the 2023 Renewal Training Videos (Parts 1-3) are on the San Bernardino County Sheriff CCW website.
^Instead of waiting to be emailed the links to the videos, you can now access the links from the website.

Ok so I just went to the Victorville office to finish my fingerprinting and interview. I asked the person if I could update the firearms listed on my initial application and he said I could do it any time between now and the day of the class and range, so I said can I do it now and he got a bit mad and said no, then repeated the same thing. I was confused and didnt wanna piss off the guy so I let it go. Anyone know if I can call the office in SB and update them there. I dont wanna do it the day of the class because that means I wont get my permit that day.
