Dang, that's a ways out. My interview was last week! Looking at April until I can even take the range trip.

Yup. Going to be a long 3 months!! But it'll be well worth it. Got my Shield ready to go

It's been just over 3 weeks since I submitted my ccw app and I haven't got a call about an interview yet. I got a confirmation email after I sent it so I'm pretty sure it was received. Should I call or continue to wait it out?

That's what they told me in September when I submitted my application.

No problem. I know now they have an IVR so you go directly to the person you need for scheduling or renewals or whatever.

My guess is live scan results are not all back yet. You're only at about 49 days, they have 90. From what I've seen its taking anywhere from 30 to nearly the full 90 days.

Phone call telling me that I successfully passed the background check: Nov 20th
Range date: Jan 10th

See my timeline above. Just be patient. If you call, they are just going to give you the generic "90 days" response (I know because I did). The only thing I would do would be to make sure that your work returned the questionairre sent by SBCSO. If they have, just sit tight. Maybe you'll get a Xmas present via phone call.

Thanks Branden for the encouragement. I've been disabled since 2006 so no employment verification to wait on.

Disregard Answer here: 7. The DOJ allows a maximum of three firearms to be listed on your CCW.
