The question was asked in person. Okay, thanks again.

Just one more question. I was asked if I'm currently a CCW permit holder in other states, which I am not. If I answered "yes," would that improve my chances for approval? Or is that just another variable that now needs to be investigated before they conclude the background check? Thank you.

Getting ready to renew again , the form on the renewal application says to fill out sections 1-5 only . Can't recall if last time I was told just to fillout the whole thing? Anyone submit renewal recently ?

Did everything except for signing because that needs to be witnessed.
Did you watch the 3 videos?

I filled out only the 1-5 and when I went to drop off my renewal packet they had me fill out the rest there.

Dropped off my renewal packet last Monday on the 8th and just received the new permit today. One week turn around. Outstanding work SBSD

              Had you added any firearms?

                    Greetings,

According to my first post on this thread I began the process on 12/9/20. Tomorrow is my initial interview. I've got all my paperwork ready and money orders in hand. I'm just hoping to get all the tools necessary to protect my family. Wish me luck.

                    Thank you for your indulgence,

                    BassCliff

Good Luck! Post an update of how it went if you get a chance after your interview.

Will do! And thanks for the PM.

                        I don't know why I haven't asked this yet.

Should I give my HR office a 'heads up' regarding the inquiry they will receive about my CCW application? I've worked with the VP of HR and the Director, plus all the secretaries and clerks love me.

I'm just wondering if that's good form.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you think they are slow to answer mail.
Should be just a confirmation you work there not a character reference.

Excellent, thank you. I appreciate the advice. Since most everyone is working from home I was thinking of asking someone to keep an eye out for the form. It's a big HR office overseeing a lot of employees and volume of mail. Meh. If it's meant to be it will be.

Has anyone who recently applied got the call for class yet? I am going on 4 months now since my interview back in Nov. I know they are partially closed and was just curious as to where they maybe in the queue.
