Only telling you what the Detective said to me.

A bit surprised too, but I'll find out soon enough. Hell, I didn't think I'd be able to do my range qualification so soon. I was still shopping for another firearm to add to my permit.lol

2 months to the day. August 10th.

Yes, once you get your CCW class scheduled you can do your range qualification at Prado immediately on Fri or Sat.

        Happy Shopping!

I shot my renewal qualification at Apple Valley and they said to bring 30 rounds. I shot 10 rounds with each gun. 5 shots, reload, 5 more. Perhaps they allow you to try more than once if needed. And yes, it is at 5 yards. Pretty easy.

Exactly. I did my range qualification on Sat.

I did mine at Prado and the instructor was very chill. He straight out told us everyone will qualify today! At 5 yards, its hard not to.

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

You would be surprised how many miss the target or hit the target well out side the triangle even when shooting from 5 yards. I suspect for some it is the pressure of the "test".

                        Anyway, regular practice is essential.

We were told anything inside 8 would be sufficient, but they were mainly looking for how safely we handled the firearm.

                              Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.
