No follow up email from application

Hello, I stumbled across this thread while searching for range qualification info for the range portion of the process and read that if you do not get a confirmation email within a few minutes of submitting the application there may be a problem. I submitted my application on 4/7 and was given 5/1 as a interview date (which I obviously chose). I have not as of yet recevied an email from them confirming the date or anything else as of today (4/15). Should I be worried or call them? The application says to give it a week or two for confirmation emails. As well, my boss who just got his never got a email from them.

Man, these wait times for interviews are brutal. I was so anxious just waiting a couple months for my interview (had to call in to get an interview at the time, their website/form wasn't working right at the time). I can't imagine waiting more than that. I feel bad for you all waiting to get a permit. I wish this process was much faster.

Yeah that sounds like a good idea, could someone PM the number to me that I should call?

So I followed up with a phone call this morning using the number Morrcarr67 gave me. I never did receive a call back from Sarah but within 10 minutes I had a email in my inbox with my confirmation on my interview. Thanks Morrcarr67 for the number and the help!!

How far out from your call was your class date? Also, do you interview when you drop off your renewal application or just drop it off?
You can't get a date more than 90 days out. As for renewal interview, there isn't one.

There isn't a interview. They person who takes your paperwork will review it, copy any items that you need copied (DL, CCW, utilities, etc) take your payment and send you on your way.

whats the time line like after the initial qual? looking to get an estimate of how long the process is. I had a ccw in a different county and moved to SB. It sucks starting all over...

I've seen as quick as 3 weeks to as long as 8 months to get your interview.

From your interview I've seen as quick as 40 days to as long as 6 months to your background check being completed.

From the completion of your background check to range date has been as quick as 2 weeks to as long as 4 months.

From range date to permit in hand has been just about a week.

Ya... but usually one long period ends up being offset by shorter waits for others.
I've not heard of many/any who have taken over a year, though some who applied after the terrorist shooting were close.

My total from application to permit-in-hand was 8 months. 3 for interview, 4 for BG clearance, and 1 for range. I applied in mid-2015.
