08/08 - Notified that I cleared background check by deputy Logan
09/12 - Schedule for CCW class / Range qualification @ Devore.

I needed to change one of the pistol on permit before the class, with this push me back for backgrounds again or just keep what I have now on the permit.

can anyone please assist me in this question??

You'll be fine, just take the guns you want to the range. It doesn't really matter what you had listed on your application.

Im sure it must have been mentioned before. I was surprised to see that my letter for employment verification, clearly stated that I was applying for a CCW and asked for opinion on character.

I bring this up because IF I did work for a company that was anti-gun, it may label me as a "gun" guy and who know how that could affect your future.

My company is pretty pro-gun so I was in the clear. Probably wondering why I took so long to get one.

Yeah, it's been brought up before. Some Calgun members haven't applied to get a CCW because of it.

07-01-15 = work received, completed, and mailed back the "employment letter".
07-28-15 = residency check

08-26-15 = received call telling me I passed the background check and to schedule a range date.
10-10-15 = Range date.
