I've had a Sac County CCW for years now, but was asked recently if a .22 was allowed for CCW. Don't have a clue, hopefully someone here knows for sure.

        The Sac Sheriff knows....
The following weapon calibers will not be allowed on a Sacramento County CCW permit.

        5.56 or .223
        7.62 or .308
        7.62x39 or the AK cartridge
        5.7 x 28mm
        30 carbine
Rifle caliber weapons (AR-Pistol, AK-Pistol, etc.)

Interesting. So, it looks like .22lr IS allowed. Now that I think about it, in one of my CCW classes there was a woman who had a Beretta .22lr.

Like granular silica through an equatorially constricted chronographic vessel, so are the circadian georotations of our metabolic persistences.

I just read on a website that a study showed 94% of statistics on the internet are wrong.

                    I have two questions:

I am selling a gun on my permit. When I submit the modification to the county, can I add another gun to replace the one I sold?

My other question is about renewal - i know you're supposed to submit 45 days before the expiration date, but can you do it sooner? My expires in October and I want to renew it in June when I have the free time to take the class.

Per their website - modifications are done ONLY at renewal.

For renewal, the class must be taken with 6 months of the time you submit your paperwork. You should be able to take your class in June, then submit it October.

                          Filed a renewal last Tuesday.

                          Approved by Thursday.

Perhaps you would prefer the L.A. or S.F. County licenses? I understand they take up no room in the wallet.
