I'm getting ready to renew... what's the current status on number of guns allowed on the permit? 3 or 5?

I recall that the online application has 5 slots, but they were making applicants choose 3. Is that still the case?

"At the present time only three handguns can be listed. Governor Brown signed a bill that became law January 1, 2017 that authorizes the creation of a CCW ID card. DOJ must first convene a committee to study this issue and recommend a standardized CCW ID card. It is not known what mandated information must be on the new CCW ID card or whether permit holders will be able to list more than three handguns."

Just submitted an address change modification online. Does anyone know what their current turnaround time is?
                Thanks

Could not stop myself from calling in to check on my new app (at 6 weeks after initial appointment). Very nice lady answered after just few rings. She said their committee is working on new-apps from January and trying hard to move things along. I thanked her for all their work. That's it.

You need to wait for a commitee to approve your application?

My interview was late February, the officer gave me livescan forms at the end of it.

I did my livescan 3 weeks later. Now I'm waiting for the result.

                              Did I miss anything?

Sacramento Sheriff office needs to email you approval of your application. They recommend waiting for they approval email before starting live scan, because if for some reason you are denied, you will be out the cost of the live scan. My initial interview was 1/26, but I started my live scan a few weeks ago, and have still not received an approval email from Sac Sheriffs office.
