The same thing is happening to me livescanned on the 30th and am still waiting for the firearms portion to pass. Completed all training and sent in all documents. I wonder why its taking so long I only have 2 firearms in my name and one of them is the one im planning to carry.

They're current. But with that said I called to confirm they have everything they need and the dude who answered I swear woke up on the wrong side of the rock.
Dude on Phone: we are closed and I'm answering the phones out of courtesy
Me: no problem I can call another day
Dude on phone: its still going to be me

DoP: So are you asking me to stop what i'm doing with the 5 other files to look at yours?
Me: (thinking to myself 'why did you bother answering the phone'?) No, I'm just asking if what Permitium is requesting from me is good because I already had uploaded my proof of residency but it asked for it again so I just want to make clear what I have is good or not
DoP: So you are then asking me to stop what im doing
Me: No, i can call another day- I truly am not trying to be difficult
DoP: Okay I will stop everything I am doing for you, what's you name...
5-8 minutes go by of him asking me questions and acting like I asked to borrow money from him for him to end with "Everything here is good, so what was your question?"
Me: same as when I first called, if what you have on your end is whats needed
DoP: yes
Me: Okay.
DoP: Okay. How do you know your livescan is completed?
Me: I looked online and it says completed today
DoP: It wasnt completed yesterday because I looked
Me: I understand, it was completed today.
DoP: Okay.
He tells me the next step is me being approved or not and if so, paying final payment prior to picking up the permit and hangs up the phone.
So RIP to me. It was a good run, boys.

Timeline update for renewal...
Completed application 3/24
Summited training certs 4/1 after 5:00 pm
Issued today, 4/13
So, about 3 weeks from spication completion, 2 weeks from training submission.

Submitted renewal application with all docs late on 4/12. Did it 30 days in advance just in case. Last couple times it took them literally a few days to process, but looks like they are a tad slower now.Comment
