Nothing to report. New fiscal year now perhaps that will help.

When I submitted my app in Dec 2016 I was charged 120.00. A month or two later they (permitium) credited me about 100.00 then i paid 80.00 or thereabouts for livescan. In may they approved my application and immediately asked for the final payment of 120.00
I have not received the permit or been notified when i can pick up but i don't think there are any additional fees. You may want to check with permitium as i think they are in control of collecting all fees less livescan

What added fees are due near the end?
        Here's the fee structure:
        --$20.00 filing fee.

        Fees-After Approval of New Application:
        --$122.00 fee for LiveScan
        --$80.00 issuance fee

Permitium also scrapes up a nominal convenience fee.

Dvrjon. Thanks for the fee info.
Interesting. I paid $120.69 with initial application. (not including Livescan $'s)
No refunds from Permitium. No Sac County request for more fee.
Makes me wonder if fee payments are FUBAR with new system.

Just looked at the system, and ran a trial app for new license. Fees for application are:
                Permit Application Fee: $20.00
                Total Application Fee: $20.00
                Credit Card Processing Fee: $1.00
                Convenience Fee: $4.00
                Total Fee: $25.00

The first page of the website shows:
-The administrative cost for a New Concealed Carry Weapon license is $100.00.
--An applicant will pay a non-refundable $20 application fee
--If approved, be asked to pay an additional $80 prior to receiving their Concealed Carry Weapon license.
-During the processing of your application, you will be asked to complete the DOJ LiveScan Fingerprinting. This costs $130 ($93 DOJ fee + $37 Sheriff's Office rolling fee).

When I had a question about what was in the system and why, I contacted Permitium at:
                Email: help@permitium.com
                Phone: (855) 642-2453

Since the stated costs are in whole dollars, and your bill came out with spare change, some part of the total cost must be based on a percentage of a value. Fees are usually assessed as percentages, so there's probably a floating fee based on dollar amount for credit card processing. Permitium gets the $4.00 "convenience fee". I'd suggest an email to Permitium asking for an accounting of the various costs paid for this process to present date.

Express confusion and ask for help. Customer service folks find that hard to refuse.

                Best.

I believe, under the new system, FUBAR is SNAFU.

                    I got my CCW permit! . . . . . just not for CA.

Sent my package to AZ on 6/26/17 got the permit today on 7/10/17.
Maybe now I can holster draw at the range with this permit.

I know there is an AZ thread for this. But the contrast with Sac Co is staggering.

Sounds like things really are slowing down at Sacramento office.
I applied in March and first available appointment was July (next week!) It's a long time out to wait but I believe the difference is that they used to not offer appointments more than a month or 2 out from your app date so if you didn't get in as soon as the appointments were made available, the calendar would fill up and not open again until the next batch of appointments were made available. I was trying to apply since November 2016 but could never even start the process because there were no appointments.

Unrelated, but are the interviews held at 2101 Hurley Way?

You were caught up in the end of the year transition from the legacy system to the new system. Then, the new system was buggy, and unable to handle the load. SSD seems to have focused on renewals during the early part of the year while they cleared up the new appointment process. Now, it seems they are bringing it up to speed and online and are making more appointments available.

                              Good luck with the process.
