What's the deal with renewals and Bianco?

They wouldn't let me apply earlier, there is a 90 days cutoff, now that I'm within my 90 days the next available slot is early next year. I would understand if I was too late to try to renew, but I wasn't - they wouldn't let me do it sooner.

Is there any process to get an appointment before my current CCW expires, or is it back to: "wait until something is available, who cares if your CCW lapses?"

Was this for an initial application or renewal?

I was in the same boat as you. Permit expires late October but earliest appointment was January. I checked the website about 10 times a day and one just popped up for mid-October so I snagged it.

Thanks - so it's the "proactive, squeeze in" type of deal... Bummer they wouldn't be better organized, but it is what it is.

Thats what i did and cut almost 4-5 weeks of my interview. I checked every day. Of course, your results will vary.

                  Good luck.......

I applied for a modification just as the pandemic started. it took months to get an appointment. it ended up being very shortly after they got back to work. They were there in full force, lieutenant too, on a Saturday. I think they're awesome and doing an outstanding job.
