That being said, it is best to have the info listed of course.

Do a search (same link) but use the "Search by "Driver License" you will not need your citation number (Only for Riv Co.)

You definitely can start a packet and upload as you go. My personal experience, Just wait till you have everything all together and complete "All your Ducks in a row" then start the process with a completed packet ready to go.. The process will move faster

I'm thinking of doing mod to my permit, can you expand on the process involved. Thanks.

I just did one... added a new pistol to my permit. Process took just under 5wks from date of submittal. What do you want to know specifically?

Jeff, that's what I wanted to do, add a pistol to my permit. I know I need to qualify for that pistol and upload the cert, is that it?

                      Correct...

                      - Qualify with the new pistol,
                      - Upload the cert. It's like applying for a new permit (as far as the web application is concerned) but choose the address change/modification option. That will change the fee. They will ask for your current permit number, copy ID, and cert.
                      - Submit, pay, and wait.

I'm picking up a Glock 26 in the next couple of weeks and my permit is subject to expiration March of 2021.

How far out are people renewing? Thinking if I should just hang tight from adding the 26 til when I renew, but if the renewal process is quick then may want to add it sooner.

Glad to hear it's much simpler than initial application.
Picking up my new subcompact this week so I need to schedule live fire asap. Tired of lugging around a full size pistol. Thanks again.

When I picked up my permit end of June, the investigator said reapply no more than 90 days in advance.

You can always get the ball rolling on the modification, seems most people are stuck having to wait 4-6 weeks for that to complete anyway

What was the timeframe for your modification? I submitted a modification order on July 20.

I suggest applying, even without all your guns, just so you can secure an interview slot, which will be several months out. Your application doesn't start moving until your interview anyway
