I had my interview on July 6th, livescan done and submitted same day. No word back yet. Anyone else been waiting a while to get the notification to pickup their permit?

when i did mine. took well over 30 day's and that was in the beginning of April. I'm still waiting on my Mod. that is going on over a month and a half. Did your firearms clear DOJ yet? That will take the longest since they are still behind i think.

Submitted my Mod. June 6th. Sent email on status July 6th. Was told by my original BI, "Can't say for sure when, but soon". So i wait.....

04/16/2020 Emailed investigator, was told they are waiting on my results from DOJ
05/12/2020 Emailed investigator, still waiting on results
06/17/2020 Email from investigator saying I should do my live scan now. Replied that I had already completed it and was told they would try to get the results from the DOJ
07/17/2020 Emailed investigator, they were unable to find my results, was told I need to re-do the livescan.
07/18/2020 Got the text, email, and phone call. Permit approved
07/24/2020 Permit picked up.

In the event I am detained or arrested by any law enforcement agency, or asked to present my license to any
peace officer. I shall notify the CCW Unit as soon as it is practical to do so, describing the details of the law

Wow who was your investigator? You were left hanging for so long.

Who was your investigator? That’s an insane amount of time to be just left hanging.

I certainly hope names aren't going to appear on this thread.

The CCW unit is solid & has been impacted by C-19 (just like most places of business.)

Some agencies aren't processing CCW's right now. RSO is. Be glad about that.

They are extremely busy. They are processing im sure as best they can. I started to get a little antsy my self but my patience has payed off. Just hang in there and it will get taking care of. Like said above, We are lucky they are still processing.

I was getting antsy just waiting for approval, but it eventually happened. I'm glad I've got the permit and can at least carry SOMETHING. I'll wait my turn in line for the modification I submitted.
