anyone know, when we submit documents after our interview date, does it notify the BI or do we need to email letting them know we submitted everything???

My BI gathered everything and submitted on my behalf. I am going through PD though which uses a 3rd party service so my results may differ from yours.Comment

My BI told me they get an email each time a document is uploaded. And not to email him, because it would be redundant.

My timeline thus far:
Online Application Submission: 2/26/2020
Interview @ BCTC (In person): 3/17/2020
Livescan (RSO Thermal Station ) 3/30/2020
Livescan Status (FBI Completed) 3/30/2020
Livescan Status (CA Completed) 3/30/2020
Livescan Status (Firearms Completed) 4/17/2020
I emailed my BI about the lag in the "Firearms" portion of my livescan status and was told (by email) "We are waiting on a letter from DOJ." (I had only one pistol on my application which I purchased in September of 2019)
At this point I'm waiting for my BI to communicate with me on being satisfied with the background results. I am not going to complete training/range qualification until that happens as I have limited ammo and don't want to misallocate it during the Covid supply shortage!Comment

Vehicle Registration does count as "proof of residence", I used it without issue, however counting it twice is probably not going to work. Email the CCW unit and ask about the cell phone bill.Comment

Thanks, I reached out and was told I could use a vehicle registration and my cell phone bill so that works for me.Comment

Just think about the increased criminal activities in and around your area and write about it. Since we live in Southern California this should not be difficult to document!Comment
