My BI gathered everything and submitted on my behalf. I am going through PD though which uses a 3rd party service so my results may differ from yours.

My BI told me they get an email each time a document is uploaded. And not to email him, because it would be redundant.

Thank you for that info. Was wondering myself.

I emailed my BI about the lag in the "Firearms" portion of my livescan status and was told (by email) "We are waiting on a letter from DOJ." (I had only one pistol on my application which I purchased in September of 2019)

At this point I'm waiting for my BI to communicate with me on being satisfied with the background results. I am not going to complete training/range qualification until that happens as I have limited ammo and don't want to misallocate it during the Covid supply shortage!
did you receive your permit thru mail?

Can I use my vehicle registration as proof of residence like you can with Dros? If so, does a second car in my name count as the other proof. Other than my cell, none of the utility bills are in my name. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Vehicle Registration does count as "proof of residence", I used it without issue, however counting it twice is probably not going to work. Email the CCW unit and ask about the cell phone bill.

Thanks, I reached out and was told I could use a vehicle registration and my cell phone bill so that works for me.

I am just starting this process. Where can I find current examples of a good cause letter? Not sure where to start with it.

My "Good Cause Statement" outlined the fact that AB 109 has had negative consequences in the areas around my hometown.
Just think about the increased criminal activities in and around your area and write about it. Since we live in Southern California this should not be difficult to document!
