Picked mine up today. Would have received it sooner if I hadnt have been in the group of people applying during their transition period.

Mine said "In progress" for about 24 hours. Then it said "Completed" or finished, something along those lines. I believe the time it takes depends on your past history. I had never been finger printed before, so I imagine the record popped up with zero, and was therefore very quick. I did it on a Friday and read the 'completed' Saturday morning.
Mine was 6 days. Live Scan Friday, received my call the following thursday. This was in the end of January 2019. I believe I managed to land in the golden zone. Was like 3 weeks between interview to card pickup. I qualified the day after my interview, live scanned 5 days after that. I qualified with people who called for interviews a YEAR prior. I only waited 4 weeks for my interview.Comment

Live scan is 10 bucks , it can be done at a few locations, did mine in Temecula because it was the only place w a same day appointment.
When you said it could show in progress up to 30 days , was that referring to the doj website? If you want something done right , do it yourself.🇺🇸Comment

My process was after they staffed the department and before the regime change/location change. I would expect it to be a little delayed from the transition. It'll come before you know it.Comment

3/26 Interview
3/28 Live Scan
4/23 Qualified
5/16 Picked Up
Just over 7 weeks overall for the whole process. My investigator told me that there is a small back log waiting for administration approval.Last edited by LoikePalenikonu; 05-16-2019, 3:27 PM.Comment

3/7 Interview
3/7 Live Scan
3/9 Qualified
5/13 Picked up (5/8 call to pick up)
Had original interview scheduled in April but I had dilly-dallied on reference letters. Rescheduled 3 weeks later and it was smooth sailing.
Thank you all to the help here with the ins and outs of the CCW process. Searching through this thread helped me to keep my ducks in a row even though I got a bit behind on it initially.Last edited by kramerica371; 05-18-2019, 11:48 PM.Comment
