Just by chance, I learned that a "batch" of applications were sent up this past Thursday for approval and mine was in that batch. Nice to know I'm getting close. Any idea on how long after they get sent up the calls start to go out?

Does anyone know if the range staff for qualifications requires specific holsters? Do I need retention holsters for each gun? Can I use an IWB holster with shirt tucked in and pistol exposed? I have my interview on the 17th and I believe qualifications a few weeks after that. Thanks

I just recently qualified and most any holster was fine - deputy's did not like Sherpa style holsters much. If you have your own armor rig, bring it. Not enough vest to go around so you end up waiting for one.

So I have my interview scheduled for the 10th. Is it really just a matter of turning the paperwork in? I have everything ready. My GC letter with proof. I wanted an opinion on this..... It just hit me a few months ago that I should of applied for my wife also. Her GC and proof would be the exact same as mine. Most everything would be the exact same. If I had all of her paperwork ready could I just take her with me and submit both sets of paperwork at the same time? Or would this not be a good idea? Thanks guys.

Another question..... I am leaving town for four weeks the day after my interview next week. I want to get the Live Scan in before I leave. That doesn't leave me much time. Where is the closest place to the interview that I can get my live scan done right after my interview? Thank You.
