What part of the Second Amendment describes the need for a CCW permit? -
There are 10 ish people on the line. Any cheap universal OWB holster is fine. Just buy something that you can put all your qualifying guns in. The cheaper the better. They don't want to wait to watch you unbuckle your pants to change holsters. Usually thirty ish rounds per gun. Ten at 5, 10, 15 yards. Low ready / shoot. They don't care of your group sizes. Just make it on paper, they are looking at you firearm handling and safety, not marksmanship. It's very relaxed. They will make fun of you if you bring more than 3 guns... But other than that it's easy as pie. Don't wear shorts. High caps they don't care if you have them. Any ammo is fine. Don't be a ninja. They will make you wear blown out old Kevlar.

Training before appointment?
Last Friday, I went out to the Raahauge's Gun Show. First time at that event. Nice event!
Anyway, FTA had a setup there. When I told one of the FTA guys that my Riverside CCW appointment was only about two months away, he told me that I should get into training NOW. Also, when I went to the LGS, he said the same. However, when I made my CCW appointment with Dep. Aguilar at the CCW unit (back in November), he told me to wait to train at Ben Clark since they don't have a file on me yet, and my training paperwork might get lost. I have also heard others say that the training is only good for x months and if you take it too early, it will expire before you need it for the process.
Did anyone that received their CCW recently do the training BEFORE the initial interview? Should I do the training before? I would like to do my training at Ben Clark for multiple reasons.
Thank you!Comment

Keep in mind that FTA is selling a product. So naturally they are biased towards you taking their class. I'll leave it up to each individual to decide if the value is there to justify their bias.If you are wondering if you can get a LTC in Riverside County: THE ANSWER IS YES!
