Hello, my new app is pending. If I sold one gun on my certification list, and I want to add a new one I just bought, what should I do?
Currently I can schedule for the new gun to qualify, but it's gonna be one day before the interview, is this enough time to get it in?

Email your processor. And you can qualify before or after the interview.
In case it wasn't obvious, nothing I write here should be interpreted as legal advice.

Thanks for your responses, if done after interview, looks like I'll have to go through the application site again? Anyone know the time frame for that?

Mid may-applied, did training course and live fire
              End of July Interview scheduled
Livescan done first week of august
              Approved 8/21
              Paid 8/26
Should be in my hands any day now

Easiest govt process I’ve dealt with, interviewer was chill, all my emails were quick, I have no complaints.

Are renewal cards sent in the mail now? Or still need to be picked up in person?
                Thanks

No, your processor can add it on if you send her an email with all the info and proof that you qualified. Doesn't require going through permitium.

                        Complete Renewal Timeline:

                        5/26 submitted app
7/01 first contact from CCW unit advising that someone is assigned to my file.
8/21 got a call from CCW from a different person advising of the problem with my good cause and cell phone ticket. I sent email explaining the ticket.
                        8/24 approval text and email
8/25 Received call to make payment over the phone. Will receive CCW license in about 3 days in the mail.
8/28 Received my CCW in the mail.

                        FINALLY!

                          No need to reapply.

After submitting my renewal app, I had removed and added 2 handguns with no problems and did not have to submit a new app. Just follow these steps:
                          - Qualify the handgun.
                          - Upload certificate to Permitium.
                          - Email CCW unit or person assigned to your file to let them know you need to add another handgun and provide handgun info. Let them know you uploaded the certificate to Permitium and even attach another copy to your email.
                          - They will email you back in a few days to let you know that it has been added.

Question. i'm looking into pursuing a CCW in Orange County. I've heard at some point during the process, the person(s) assigned to your case will come to your house and randomly speak with your neighbors to establish if you are indeed of good moral character and a viable candidate for a CCW (and also to confirm your residency) I don't have any issues with any of my neighbors, we live on a very friendly cul-de-sac where I have known all of my neighbors for MANY years. However, I'm not sure how some of them would feel about anyone having a CCW, as the demographics of our street is very broad. I'm also not sure how I feel about having my neighbors know I would be applying for a CCW . It's not necessarily a deal-breaker for me, as I could let them know in advance that potentially someone from the Sheriffs Department may be coming by, so there would be no surprises.
I'd just like to kind of know in advance before I start the process.
Thanks in advance for any enlightenment.
